Bei Kickstarter fand ich ein witziges Projekt einer jungen Dame, die laut Eigenaussage noch nicht genau weiß, was sie mit ihrem Leben anfangen soll. Diese Kickstarter Idee finde ich aber schon mal einen guten Anfang: Little Free Library Project: Winston Salem, NC:
[…] The Little Free Library project began in 2009 when Todd Bol built a small structure, a glorified birdhouse if you will, and filled it with books in honor of his late mother, a school teacher and avid reader. He placed the structure on his front lawn with a sign encouraging curious visitors to „Take a Book. Leave a Book.“ The spirit of the project, which aims to promote literacy and community, spread quickly and today there are an estimated 10,000 libraries nationally and even internationally. Right now there are no registered Little Free Libraries in Winston Salem NC so let’s change that! […]
Sie will also für ihre Heimat eine kleine Free Little Library einrichten und sich so am großen gleichnamigen Projekt beteiligen. Ich finde die Idee nicht nur wegen des Themas „analoge Bücher“ interessant, sondern weil sie so einfach zu realisieren und zu kopieren ist! Jeder von uns könnte schnell so eine Kampagne starten und in seinem Kiez ein kleine Bibliothek einrichten. Schaut euch mal die Kartemit den Standorten an – Deutschland ist da noch Brachland.
