Scout Books DIY Calendar Notebook Set

Scout Books ist ein Notizbuchhersteller, der mir im Web selten begegnet. Neulich stieß ich aber auf den Artikel Countdown to 2014 #1: DIY Calendar Box, in dem das DIY Calendar Notebook Box Set vorgestellt wird:

Scout Books – ein Fieldnotes-Klon

Leserin Maria schickt mir einen Link auf die Notizbücher von Scout Books. Die Bücher sind den Fieldnotes Büchern sehr ähnlich. Scout Books haben allerdings einen etwas anderen Ansatz:

Hier kann man also ein eigenes Design für den Einband wählen. Die Ausstattung der Bücher ist dann doch wieder sehr ähnlich zu den Fieldnotes, wobei auf ökologische Gesichtspunkte Wert gelegt wird:

-32 pages + durable chipboard covers

-Manufactured in Portland, Oregon
-Made with 100% Recycled Papers + Soy ink + Renewable Energy

-Sized for portability at 3.5” X 5” with two staples and rounded corners.

Besonders interessant ist der Konfigurator, der allerdings erst ab mind. 50 Büchern genutzt werden kann. 50 Bücher kosten dann ca. 200 US $, 1000 Bücher kosten ca. 900 US $.
