Wired.com, eher bekannt für Technikthemen, berichtete über Gorgeous French Stationery Kit Is the Perfect Early Christmas Gift, was mich zum Notizbuchhersteller Calepino aus Nantes an der Grenze zur Bretagne führte. Calepino schreibt:

[…] Based in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, CALEPINO decided to support the local expertise, to plan their approach on an impartial human scale, and to reduce all transport related to the manufacturing of the product. Thus, all our note-books are printed and made in a local and reputable family business in the region of Nantes called Imprim’Vert. The cardboard is made in a French cardboard factory created in 1927. As for the pens and pencils, they are produced near Paris and Lay. […]

Also alles gute französische Qualität – Made in France. Neben attraktiven Notizbüchern finden sich auf der Seite auch Stifte und natürlich das von Wired erwähnte The Calepino Panoplie:

[…] The perfect package for those wanting all Calepino products, or for the ideal gift. It is made up of all you may need in the case of a shortage, a natural disaster or the rationing of paper. Three sets of 3 notebooks (n°1,2 & 3) + 6 black pens + 6 wooden pencils. And the cherry on the cake: Save 6 euros on individual prices ! 19,6% off for non EU customers. […]

Und das für 35 EUR! Na wenn das keine gute Idee für ein Weihnachtsgeschenk ist. Kennt jemand von euch die Bücher? Calepino findet ihr auch bei Twitter und bei Facebook.
